This study examined the adoption and utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in information management at the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) in Abuja, focusing on its impact on service delivery and identifying associated challenges. Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology as its theoretical framework, data collection involved distributing copies of a survey questionnaire to 290 NASC staff members and conducting in-depth interviews with three Directors and three Deputy Directors, employing purposive sampling and consensus methods. The findings revealed widespread ICT adoption among NASC staff, enhancing service delivery, despite challenges such as inadequate financial provision for ICT tools, lack of experienced personnel to manage ICT infrastructure, poor maintenance culture, and connectivity issues. In conclusion, the study suggested that while NASC staff had embraced ICTs for information management, effective strategies, including developing a clear ICT strategy, engaging stakeholders, providing staff training, and ensuring long-term support for ICT initiatives, are recommended to overcome these challenges, possibly through seeking external expertise.
