| Abstract: | In the digital age, social media has emerged as a transformative force in organizational operations, reshaping how businesses engage with consumers, build brands, and achieve growth. This study explores the role of digital psychology—an interdisciplinary field that examines human behavior in digital environments—in leveraging social media as a catalyst for organizational growth in Nigeria. Drawing on qualitative insights from journals, textbooks, and industry reports, the study highlights the principles of digital psychology, including consumer engagement, emotional appeals, and social influence, as critical factors in designing effective social media strategies. The study further examines the benefits of social media, such as improved brand visibility, real-time customer feedback, and cost-effective marketing, while addressing the challenges specific to Nigerian organizations, such as limited digital literacy, infrastructural barriers, and ethical concerns. The study underscores the potential of integrating digital psychology into social media strategies to optimize consumer engagement and drive organizational growth. The study concludes by recommending investments in digital literacy, infrastructure, and ethical practices to maximize the benefits of social media in Nigeria’s dynamic business environment. This review serves as a foundational guide for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers aiming to harness the power of digital psychology for organizational advancement. |
